My Best Angle app for iPhone and iPad

My Best Angle (MBA) is the perfect app if you love taking selfies, using a selfie stick, or if you’re

someone that has “a good side” while being photographed. It’s also great if you want to take a selfie using

your device’s rear camera, which has a much higher degree of resolution than the front one.

How it works:

The MBA application allows you to take test pictures of yourself (or group shots), then asks you to

choose your best looking picture from the test shots.

The app saves the orientation information of each test picture (in other words, HOW your best-looking

picture was taken) using your device’s on-board sensors.

When you choose your best angle photo, the app creates a profile from the photo using the precise

orientation of the device when it was taken.

Once a profile is saved, you can use it to guide you to take more pictures AUTOMATICALLY at that very

same angle!

How does it guide you? With audio and visual cues.

When taking an automatic picture using a profile, the app shows you the numbers that formed your best

angle. Just move the phone around, and get the numbers to match in real time until the phone takes

the picture automatically.

If you’re using the rear camera and can’t see the numbers, no problem! The app will tell you (out loud)

to hold the device steady once you reach your best angle.

Don’t worry about being too precise, either. You can set a configurable margin of error, and simply be

within that range to take automatic pictures.

Speaking of automatic pictures, you can take up to 5 at a time in a burst to make sure you weren’t

blinking!

After you take the pictures, you can save them in an album. They are automatically sorted into the

album named for the profile you took them with.
